Medical Support & Social Welfares Underprivileged patients are supported for doctors’ visits, lab tests, surgeries and medicines. In India, the salary of a primary school teacher, on an average, ranges from $20-$60 per month (based on experience). The head of a household has to support a family of five to seven members as well as his parents, and sometimes siblings. This severe economic pressure results in the form of various medical problems, but an individual suffering from such problems cannot afford to see a doctor or undergo proper treatment. Often, children at school suffer from various diseases unattended.
